We are proud to announce that Independent Locksmiths & Security has officially signed a partnership with the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC). This partnership represents a significant milestone in our journey toward fostering a more inclusive and diverse supply chain. By joining forces with the NSWICC, we are cementing our commitment to supporting Indigenous economic development and community empowerment.

Our Commitment to Indigenous Engagement

This partnership is the foundation of our broader Indigenous Engagement Strategy. It aligns our operations with the NSW Government’s Aboriginal Procurement Policy (APP), ensuring that we contribute directly to the growth of Aboriginal-owned businesses and the creation of sustainable employment opportunities.

What is the NSWICC?

Established 20 years ago, the NSWICC is a non-government, not-for-profit, Indigenous-controlled Peak Body and Certifier. Their mission is to bridge the gap between government, industry, and corporate organisations by helping them identify and engage with certified Indigenous businesses.

As a Peak Body, the NSWICC provides:

  • Business Certification: Ensuring Indigenous-owned businesses are verified and “contract ready.”

  • Strategic Advice: Helping partners like us navigate social procurement.

  • Advocacy: Representing the interests of Indigenous entrepreneurs across the state.

Why This Matters

For our clients and partners, this means that by working with Independent Locksmiths & Security, you are supporting a business that is actively invested in social equity. We believe that a strong Indigenous business sector leads to a stronger economy for everyone.

Our partnership with the NSWICC is more than just a certificate on the wall; it is a commitment to learning, engaging, and building long-term relationships with Indigenous-owned businesses and communities.
